Digital Engineering
Construction-ready models and controlled digital workflows from design to field.
Digital engineering allows spatial information to move efficiently between design teams, surveyors, construction crews and machines. 2Spatial provides practical digital engineering support focused on making design information construction-ready and maintaining control as that information changes throughout the project.

We can interrogate design models, prepare field set-out data, create terrain and construction surfaces, manage strings and alignments, prepare machine-guidance files and process survey information back into as-built and conformance datasets. The objective is not simply to create models; it is to ensure the information reaching the field is current, checked, traceable and appropriate for its intended construction use.
On complex infrastructure projects, digital engineering becomes particularly important where multiple design packages, revisions and subcontractors are operating simultaneously. A controlled workflow reduces the risk of superseded information reaching survey crews or machine operators and provides a clearer record of what information was used for construction.
Our digital workflows can incorporate 12d Model, 12d Synergy and project-specific data environments. We work with project teams to establish naming, revision, validation and issue procedures appropriate to the job.
Our Capability
- 12d Model preparation and interrogation

- Survey coding and data standards
- As-built and conformance processing
- Digital handover datasets
Why it matters to the project?
Controlled digital information reduces uncertainty between design and field delivery and helps prevent superseded or incorrectly prepared data reaching construction.
